911 Coordinator Ford County | Part-Time Position
Position Summary
Ford County is accepting applications for a part-time 911 Coordinator. This position plans and coordinates the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the County’s computerized enhanced emergency telephone (E-911) system and related equipment. Responsibilities are both administrative and technical in nature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the implementation, operation, and maintenance of the enhanced 911 telephone system and associated equipment
- Serve as Secretary to the Ford County 911 Board, including preparation of meeting notices, agendas, and official minutes
- Work cooperatively with local, county, state, and federal government officials, advisory boards, and community partners
- Assign and maintain addressing for county properties
- Perform related administrative and technical duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications
- General knowledge of 911 systems and emergency communications operations
Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
