Please click on the link above to apply.  All person(s) who are owning, conducting or transacting the business will need to sign the Certificate of Intention in front of a notary.  Upon receipt of the executed Certificate of Intention, we will verify your business name is not already being used in Ford County, IL.

There is a fee of $27.00 owed to the Ford County Clerk & Recorder’s Office at the time of applying.  We will then prepare the Assumed Name Publication Notice. This Publication Notice will be sent to you with instructions. 

The publication must be run within 15 days of the date on the Public Notice from our office.  Place your ad with the Ford County Chronicle, please visit Statewide Publishing.
