Our goal is to serve you to the best of our ability.

Services provided include: Local registrar of birth and death certificates; perform all voter registrations and elections; Issue marriage licenses; Tax Extensionist, Recorder of all County Board Meetings; Keeper of all Resolution and Ordinances; Register Notary Public Commission Certificates; Payroll and Accounts Payable; Assumed Names, Keeper of all birth, death and marriage certificates; and Genealogy.

As County Recorder, it is my primary responsibility to accurately and timely maintain the indexing of titles of all Ford County land. We also record military discharges and other contracts which may require public recording. Our office has two computer workstations available for the public without charge. The computer document index goes back to 1991 with document images from 2006 to the present. Book records are available back to 1859.

As of May 1, 2011, due to new regulations, the Ford County Clerk will be unable to process Passports.

As of July 1, 2022, due to new regulations, the Ford County Clerk will be unable to process Notary Certificates.
