Important: Use your full legal name. Type the same name that is on your court paperwork.
Do not use a nickname. Do not use initials. This helps court staff find you on the list.
Option 1: Join With the Zoom App
Open the Zoom app on your phone, tablet, or computer.
If you do not have the app, go to zoom.us/download and install it first.
Tap or click "Join." Do not tap "Sign In." You do not need an account to join.
Type the Meeting ID. This is the number the court gave you. It is often 9 to 11 digits.
Type your full legal name. Use the name on your court paperwork. Do not use a nickname.
Type the passcode, if asked. The court may give you a separate code. Type it here.
Choose your video and audio settings. You may join with your camera on or off. Test your microphone if you can.
Tap or click "Join." You may enter a waiting room first. The host will let you in.
Option 2: Join With a Web Browser
Go to zoom.us/join.
Type the Meeting ID.
Click "Join."
Type the passcode, if asked.
Type your full legal name when asked.
Click "Open Zoom" or "Join from Your Browser."
Helpful Tips
Join 10 to 15 minutes early. This gives you time to fix any problems.
Check your camera and microphone before the meeting starts.
Sit in a quiet, well-lit room.
Keep your Meeting ID and passcode private. Do not share them with others.
